A takeaway could replace a former cafe if plans are granted by the local authority.
The premises which was formerly Laybourn's Kitchens cafe at 156 Upminster Road could be replaced by a takeaway if plans are granted by Havering Council.
An application was made by Rehan Yousaf, supported by architect Straight Arch Limited, for the change of use.
Havering Council received the proposal on April 9, validated in two days later and a decision date has been set to June 6.

Works are expected to begin in July if approved and end in August.
Under existing use, the premises is already in use for the sale of food and drink, according to the application form, but the proposal seeks to formalise it as a takeaway.
