A man has been charged with drugs and human trafficking offences after he was arrested at a property in Romford.
Ryan Thomas, 25, of Norman Crescent, Brentwood has been accused of being concerned in supply of heroin and crack cocaine, human trafficking and modern slavery.
On March 10, officers from Essex Police stopped a car on the A12 that they believed was being used by drug dealers.
They seized the phone of one of the occupants the next day, and it was allegedly found to be utilised for the supply of drugs in Essex.
Essex Police then partnered with Metropolitan Police and executed two arrest warrants on April 4 at properties in Romford and Colchester, Essex.

A Colchester woman was charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin and modern slavery.
Both appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Friday (April 5) and were remanded in custody until a future court hearing.
