Plans for a new cricket centre and to retrospectively get permission for a child care centre are among the many planning applications submitted to the local authority over the last week.
Havering Council has received over 24 applications for a variety of developments in the borough.
We have summed up the most notable applications and included them for ease below:
- Plans were submitted to retrospectively change the use of a residential outbuilding at Bush Elms Road, Hornchurch, to a childminding day centre – after first starting the centre in June 2021, believing that planning permission was not required. (P0385.24)
- It was also proposed to add an additional story to block B at Cheltenham Court, Haydock Close, Hornchurch to add a one-bedroom flat and a two-bedroom flat. (P0409.24)
- At Shepherds Hill, Romford, there are plans to demolish existing properties and build six three-bedroom detached dwellings with parking and amenity space. (P0374.24)
- A “high-quality” indoor cricket centre at the former Crafty Arts in Byrant Avenue, Harold Wood, has also been put forward to Havering Council, which would provide seven cricket nets – two of which equipped with a bowling machine. (P0420.24)
- There’s also plans to change the use of an upper flat at Collier Row Lane, Romford, to houses in multiple occupation for six people – including a loft conversion. (P0297.24)
- Another application is for a two-storey extension at Scottish Mural House, North Street, Hornchurch, for two one-bedroom flats and six studio flats. (J0007.24)
