The Met Police has released a statement after they were called to assist the fire brigade at a derelict pub blaze in Dagenham.
The force said partial road closures remain in place after a fire at the Ship & Anchor pub in Wood Lane at around 00.52am this morning (March 20).
Wood Lane has been shut from Becontree Leisure Centre up to the junction of Whalebone Lane, according to Barking and Dagenham Council.
The closures, police said, will continue whilst the London Fire Brigade investigate the fire and until the building has been made secure.

They further confirmed that no-one was at the premises at the time of the fire and no injuries have been reported.
The entire roof of the disused pub has been destroyed by fire.
Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled the blaze all through the night damping down remaining hot spots.
Fire crews from Dagenham, Romford, Hornchurch, Ilford and Greenwich fire stations attended the scene.
A resident claimed that those living in houses nearby were made to evacuate for a few hours after the fire.
