A pub in Romford town centre which closed has announced a reopening date.
Yates in South Street shut on March 4, with a closing party thrown on March 2 according to the venue’s Facebook page.
The venue has posted to say it will be reopening on March 12, with a ‘soft launch’ party on March 15 featuring Mr Fresh/DJ General from 9 pm until 3am.

Another launch night is taking place on March 23 with DJ Lust UK at the helm.
Posters promoting both events feature the logo of Craft Union, with commenters saying that the pub is set to be rebranded in that name.
The Recorder understands this to be the case but has contacted Stonegate, of which both Yates and Craft Union pubs are part of, for confirmation.
