A man has been found dead near a home and police are investigating the "unexpected" occurrence.
The Metropolitan Police was called at around 9.25am yesterday (March 2) to reports of a deceased man on Leyburn Crescent, Harold Hill.
Emergency services attended and police have since told us that the man's death is being treated as unexpected.
It is not thought to be suspicious, police added, and officers are in the process of informing his next of kin.

Harold Hill belongs to the Heaton ward which is policed by a safer neighbourhoods team.
Police have a drop-in surgery from 2-3pm on Tuesday (March 5) in Harold Hill Library for people to raise their concerns.
