An "unprovoked" attack at Harold Wood Station has led to a man's death.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) confirmed a man was pronounced dead at the scene after the service was called at 4.29am today (February 27).
“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a medic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and a clinical team manager," a LAS spokesperson said.
“Our first medic arrived on scene in five minutes [but] very sadly, a man was pronounced dead at the scene."

British Transport Police (BTP) had also attended and found a person suffering "extensive injuries".
A man was subsequently arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Sam Blackburn of the BTP said this was an “unprovoked and despicable attack”.
Officers have urged anyone who witnessed the incident or has other information that can help with the investigation to text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 53 of 27/02/24.
