Police have arrested a man in connection with today's stabbing at the Brewery shopping centre in Romford.
The man has been taken into custody and officers are not looking for any other suspects, a Met Police spokesperson said.
It comes after police were called to the shopping centre's car park at 12.53pm today (February 20) to reports of an injured man.
Officers found the 23-year-old later at hospital but his condition is not yet known.
Witnesses at the scene described seeing a man with a knife injury to the back.

The Met spokesperson said: "It appears to be an isolated incident with the victim and suspect being known to each other.
"Officers from our town centre team remain in the area and will continue to provide reassurance."
The shopping centre was forced to close after the incident, with one nearby shopkeeper describing the incident as "very shocking".
