A man has been stabbed in the back inside a Romford shopping centre, causing it to be evacuated.
The Met Police were called to Romford’s Brewery Shopping Centre at 12.53pm today (February 20) to reports of an injured man in the venue.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and were told by a witness that they saw a man with a knife injury to the back.
After a search, the victim was tracked by officers and taken to an east London hospital. Details on his condition are yet to be confirmed.

The police believe the stabbing took place inside the stairwell at the Brewery.
A probe has been launched and the police are yet to identify and find a suspect.
A crime scene has been put in place at the Brewery, with people being asked to leave the building.
