A man has suffered injuries after he was hit by a car last evening.
Met Police were called at 6.22pm on Saturday (February 18) to reports of a crash involving the man and a car on Main Road, Gidea Park.
The man, in his 80s, was taken to hospital where he currently remains.
The Police said his condition is not life-threatening or life-changing.

The driver of the car, they added, stopped at the scene.
No arrests have been made so far.
Local people claimed on social media that the road was closed off by police near Gallows Corner following the incident.
One person said an ambulance was arriving at the scene. The road has since reopened.
