A shisha lounge in Romford has applied to vary its premises licence to change its opening hours.
A notice of the application published in the Recorder on February 2 said the application was for Royal Lounge at 14 Victoria Road.
Jumeirah Palm Lounge trades out of the site now and a manager at the venue told the Recorder that it is in the process of rebranding itself as the Royal Lounge.
It has sought Havering Council’s permission to serve late night refreshments on its premises from 11pm to 12am on Friday and Saturday, and sell alcohol between 11am and 10.45pm from Thursday to Sunday and 11am to 11.45pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
It has also proposed its opening hours to be from 6am to 11pm between Thursday to Sunday and 6am to 12am on Fridays and Saturdays.
