Police are looking to find a suspect after a "suspicious" incident where a man reportedly tried to lead a woman into a van in Romford.
Police said they were called at around 7.50pm on Friday (February 2) by someone who said they had seen a man holding a woman's arm and trying to lead her into a van in Victoria Road.
The caller said they helped the woman escape from the man and ensured she was safe before contacting police.
"We take reports like this very seriously and we are making enquiries to identify the suspect, who is described as white, with a skinhead and of medium build," a police spokesperson said.

The man is said to be aged 40, with scars on his face and driving a navy blue van.
"So far, we have been unable to get in touch with the victim", the spokesperson added. "But we are keen to do so to make sure she’s okay and has the support she needs."
They added that the incident was not being treated as an attempted kidnap or abduction but a " suspicious circumstance".
