Two staff members were stabbed at Goodmayes station with two teenagers arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
The incident occurred at the station yesterday (January 31) after two men were involved in an 'altercation' with station staff members, British Transport Police said.
One of the victims, in his 30s, sustained a stab wound and a cut to the head after he was struck with a bottle.
The second victim was stabbed under his arm. They are both receiving treatment in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
A 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
The station was closed by forensic teams but was reopened in the early hours of this morning (February 1).
