A teenager has been treated for a chest injury following an incident in Beckton.
Crews from the London Ambulance Service (LAS) were dispatched to the scene in Woolwich Manor Way yesterday (January 29) at 5.52pm.
A spokesperson for LAS said: “We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a medic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and a clinical team manager.
"We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance.
“Our first medic arrived at the scene in less than five minutes.
A teenager was treated on scene and was taken to a nearby hospital as a priority.
We await confirmation from the Metropolitan Police in regards to the nature of the incident.

There have been multiple claims on social media that the incident was a stabbing, however these claims remain unconfirmed.
One social media user claimed: "Something has happened over Asda where bus depot is all taped of (sic)".
Another added: "A young boy was stabbed on the bus!! I pray that he pulls through".
The Metropolitan Police have been contacted for comment.
