A man has pleaded guilty to repeated shoplifting offences from the same shop in Brentwood.
Arshdeep Singh, 35, of Elgin Road, Seven Kings, Ilford, appeared at Southend-on-Sea Magistrates' Court on Monday (January 22), where he pleaded guilty to 11 charges of thefts.
Brentwood Police, posting on Facebook, said they had been alerted by staff at a Co-op in Shenfield to a man committing thefts in the store.
Police attended the Shenfield Co-op, in Hutton Road, and arrested a man.

While taking statements and downloading CCTV footage, police noticed the man was responsible for a further ten offences in the same store.
Singh will appear at the same court again on April 24.
The thefts occurred between December 2023 and January 2024 and mostly chocolates and toiletries were taken, Essex Police added.
