Several teenagers have reportedly been threatened and one had a phone stolen near a mixed secondary school.
The Metropolitan Police today (January 27) said it received three reports about incidents on Wennington Road, Rainham, which occurred at around 4.10pm last Monday (January 22).
They were reported the following day, police said.
Wennington Road connects to Lambs Lane where Harris Academy Rainham, a mixed secondary school, sits.
"Officers have carried out CCTV enquiries in the area and our investigation continues," a police spokesperson said.
"We recognise the concern these incidents will cause other children and their parents, and we have arranged for additional patrols in the area to provide reassurance," he added.
