A Pan-Asian restaurant is set to open in a popular shopping centre.
Nasi Isda, which offers Korean, Thai and Japanese cuisine among other Asian food, will open this Saturday (January 27) in The Mercury Shopping Centre in Romford.
It will be at unit 34a in the retail venue.
Restaurant owner Nayab Ahmad, 33, said his business, which serves halal food, will be a welcome addition to Romford.
The 33-year-old, who lives on Pettits Lane, said it was important to him personally to have the chain's flagship store in the town.
“I grew up in the area," Nayab said. “The Romford area is very very special to me - you can never have enough food, but we're trying to offer something different."

Nayab, who said he attended Chadwell Heath Primary School, confirmed the Romford branch will be his business's flagship store.
He and business partner Khurram Quddus already have three restaurants in Leyton, South Woodford and Wood Green.
Korean corndogs, Thai green curry and UFO burgers - meat patties inside a spaceship shaped pastry - will be some of the items on offer.
