A kitchen showroom looks set to replace a beauty salon after plans were given the green light.
The premises at 63-65 Butts Green Road in Hornchurch, formerly the Layla Hinchen salon which offered permanent make-up and beauty treatments, is set to be replaced by the showroom after Havering Council gave planning permission.
The authority approved the application last Friday (January 12), provided the premises not be used as a cafe and restaurant, gym, indoor sports and recreation centre or a day nursery.

In a design and access statement from PolarDesign on behalf of applicant NGUK Kitchens, the agent said the proposed use would also contain a shopfront.
Previous tenant Layla Hinchen downsized to a home studio to save money, paving the way for this change of use.
Two permanent members of staff would work in the showroom, the plans showed.
The proposed operating hours would be from 9am until 6pm, Monday to Sunday.
