A Romford nightclub said it is "business as usual" despite its parent company filing a notice of intention to appoint administrators amid financial woes.
Rekom UK said yesterday (January 15) it intended to draft in administrators to various companies in its UK group.
The nightclub operator owns brands such as Atik, which has a venue in South Street.
When contacted for comment, an Atik Romford spokesperson said: "At this stage, it is too early to confirm what this will mean for Atik Romford.
"In the meantime, it is business as usual, and the venue will continue to trade as normal."
Rekom UK said it has been an “extremely difficult” year for the late-night sector due the cost-of-living crisis and surges in energy and goods costs.

Peter Marks, Rekom UK chairman, added: “This has been the result of the combination of the cost-of-living crisis that has so badly affected the young adult or student market, together with the cost-of-doing-business crisis.”
