The Met Police has said they are hunting for a suspect after an attempted burglary.
The incident reportedly happened on Friday (January 12) at around 1.15am in Upminster Road South, Rainham.
The suspect, the force said, was seen trying to break into a home but failed to do so and fled the scene. A probe has been launched to trace their whereabouts.

Officers have urged anyone with information to contact the police on 101 citing Crime Refs 5400815/24.

The incident came just after another attempted break-in was reported to the police that day.
The police said at 12.01am a male had tried to gain entry to a residential property in Railway View in Rainham when the occupant alerted the force.
An arrest has been made in connection with this incident, the Met said.
