A man is in a life-threatening condition after a crash on the A13 this morning.
Commuters travelling on the A13 Beckton Flyover have experienced severe delays this morning (January 9) after a man came off his motorbike on the main road.
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed the man has been taken to hospital with queues ongoing whilst crash investigation work is underway.

A spokesperson for the Met said: "Police were called at 02:51hrs on Tuesday, 9 January to reports of a person in the road on the A13 in Barking.
"It was established that he had come off of his motorcycle.
"Officers responded with LAS and London's Air Ambulance and the man (no further details) was taken to hospital, where his condition is being treated as life-threatening."
No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the incident. Police are working to identify the man and notify his next of kin.
Road users are still experiencing long delays. According to the AA, delays are easing.
On the A13, Alfreds Way westbound, delays of 49 minutes have been estimated between the A1306 (Wennington Interchange) and Spur Road.
Congestion has backed up, affecting roads in Barking, Dagenham, Rainham and Redbridge.
