A man has been arrested after a Met Police stop and search operation in Harold Hill discovered a sword-like weapon.
Officers found a large blade in the trouser leg of a young man yesterday (December 2), Havering MPS tweeted. A friend accompanying him was also found in possession of class B drugs.
Both were arrested and taken into custody, police said.
The incident comes after Havering’s Joint Task Force arrested three people on Monday (January 1) of which one was reportedly wanted for burglaries and vehicle crime.
