The end of the year is approaching, but readers have been able to enjoy spectacular festive decorations at a house in Romford tipped as Havering's best.
This Pettits Lane home has been roundly praised by readers after The Recorder ran a story on December 22 just ahead of Christmas (December 25).
Other notable Christmas homes included an impressive house on Wednesbury Road in Harold Hill and another in the same area put up by a homeowner despite his battle with cancer.
But readers were especially full of praise for the Pettits Lane decorations.
One such was Milita Flores who said: "We go there every year - absolutely beautiful.
"Awesome decorations," she added.

"What [a] nice family to do this for the kids and charity," said Tracey Jaqueline Tallintire.
"It’s a fantastic display - such a nice thing to do for the locals to visit and to raise money. Thank you," added Nicole Walker.
Lisa Leaver went a step further and said it was the best she had seen.
"Definitely the best," said Lisa. "Done so beautifully - we always go here on Christmas Eve my girls love it."
The owners of the Pettits Lane home decorate it for charity, according to various readers, and to bring the community together at Christmas.
Maria Morgan congratulated those involved in light of their charitable efforts.
"Fantastic and for charity, well done to all involved," she added.
For some it was their first time seeing the house, but for others going has been a regular occurance.
"In Romford - [it was] my frist time seeing it, it was amazing," said Susan, a reader.
Dawn Povey differed from Susan and said she goes every year to see it.
A giant santa hat, Christmas tree and illuminated reindeer can be seen as some of the many attractions on offer.
With the festive period drawing to an end, readers have no doubt enjoyed their time off visiting some of Havering's spectacular Christmas homes, notably this one in Pettits Lane, Romford.
"I love it," added Jason Window.
