A car alight in Upminster prompted a fire crew to be scrambled to the scene.
London Fire Brigade (LFB) tackled a car fire near the junction of Pea Lane and Ockendon Road in the early hours of this morning (November 27).
The brigade was called at 3.18am after the Metropolitan Police received reports of a car on fire in Pea Lane at 3am.

LFB said the fire was put out by 3.38am and the police added that no people were present on their arrival.
There were no reports of injuries, the force said, but enquiries into the circumstances of the blaze continue.
A fire engine from Hornchurch Fire Station attended the scene, LFB added.
