A five-year-old girl remains in hospital in a critical condition a week after falling from a window in Harold Hill.
Police were called to Darlington Gardens at 4.15pm last Saturday (November 18).
Officers had received reports that a girl had fallen from the window of a home and attended the scene.
London Ambulance Service took the girl to hospital where she was described as being in a critical but stable condition.
A police spokesperson confirmed today (November 25) that she is still fighting for her life, adding that there has been no change in her condition.
A woman was arrested on suspicion of child neglect last Sunday (November 19), but has since been released on bail.
An eight-year-old boy found at the same address was also taken to hospital as a precaution.
Police enquiries into the case are ongoing.
