A woman has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect after a girl, 5, reportedly fell from the first window of a home.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 4.15pm yesterday (November 18) to reports a child had fallen from the first window of a home in Darlington Gardens, Harold Hill.
Emergency services attended and the girl, 5, was taken to hospital.
She remains in critical, but stable condition.
The woman, in her 40s, was arrested on suspicion of child neglect and subsequently released on bail.

A boy, 8, at the address was also taken to hospital as a precaution, police added.
An investigation is under way to establish the full circumstances.
