Plans to remove some parking spaces from a Tesco depot, new housing, and to open a bakery at a busy high street are among the many planning applications submitted to the local authority over the last week.
Havering Council has received over 40 applications for a variety of developments in the borough.
We have summed up the most notable applications and included them for ease below:

It’s proposed - P1415.23 - that four parking spaces would be removed from the Tesco Dagenham Depot on Beam Reach and to instead install a switch room container and a ring main unit along with an Armco barrier for protecting the existing car park.

The council also heard plans at the Elm Park Ward, P1519.23, to erect a two storey three-bedroom detached dwelling at Adnams Walk in Rainham, following the demolition of an existing garage, front porch and side extension.

An application was made for a single storey annexe at Herbert Road in Hornchurch, P1502.23.

Another plan, P1569.23, is to demolish and reconstruct an existing boundary wall at Burntwood Avenue, Hornchurch, with new facing bricks to match the main house, as well as new gates.

At Burntwood Avenue, Hornchurch, it was proposed - P1570.23 - to construct a two storey detached dwelling with five bedrooms and a basement, including off street parking and a cycle store.

The council heard plans to convert a detached garage at Crow Lane, Romford, to a rear single storey one-bedroom flat, with associated parking and amenity space - P1608.23.

An application, P1598.23, was pushed to demolish existing buildings and construct a three-storey building of residential dwellings, with cycle parking at Ardleigh Green Road Hornchurch.

It was asked that the upper floors of former offices and storage space at High Street, Hornchurch, would be developed into four self-contained dwellings - J0037.23.

Designs for a "Dulce Bakery and Delicatessen" have been proposed for 148 South Street, Romford, by applicant Tone Interiors Ltd. The plans, P1606.23, were received on October 27 and validated the same day. A decision date has been set to December 22.
