More Havering eateries have been given low overall hygiene ratings by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) in recent weeks.
Seven premises that were visited by inspectors from Havering Council’s environmental health team in September and October have received a food hygiene score of one out of five.
These are based on three main criteria - hygienic handling of food, cleanliness and condition of facilities and management of food safety.
The outlets are said to require ‘major improvements’ in at least one of these areas.
The outcome of the inspection is however not a commentary on the quality of food, customer service, culinary skills of the makers, presentation of food and comfort of the venue.
Here’s a list of the establishments with ‘one’ food hygiene ratings, according to the FSA.
