A new venue in Romford offering an array of games including crazy golf, electro-darts and VR gaming has had its opening date revealed.
Weeks after announcing its launch in The Brewery shopping centre, the team behind BUNKERS! has said that the venue will open its doors to the public on November 9 with “an epic party”.
A new “competitive socialising” venue, a BUNKERS! spokesperson says it boasts of “an incredible, never seen before crazy golf” with themes including Studio 54, the Nevada Desert and space exploration.
The venue will also feature two bars serving new and classic cocktails and have a range of food options.
As part of the launch celebration, visitors who sign up for the mailing list on the BUNKERS website will be able to play games like crazy golf, shuffleboard, pool and more for £5.
Andrew Scholey, operations and development director of Adventure Leisure Limited, said BUNKERS! will give visitors “a reason to escape and enjoy time with friends and family”.

Spanning over 20,000 square feet, the immersive facility will have “a host of activities” on offer for all, he said.
Lauren Price, marketing manager of Adventure Leisure, added that the venue is “like nothing you have ever seen before” with its “amazing” gaming areas and food and drink options that has something for every visitor.
Councillor David Taylor, of St Edwards ward in Romford, expressed his approval for such a “unique” venue joining the leisure scene in Romford, creating more than 50 jobs.
He said: “I’m looking forward to working with the team at BUNKERS! to further put Romford as a top destination on the map.”
