Readers have had their say on what should replace a former Wetherspoons pub on a busy high street.
This comes after The Recorder reported that The World's Inn, in South Street, was "under offer" according to the website of estate and lettings agent Savills and the pub chain.
The Wetherspoons pub stopped trading on April 16 this year.
Gary Gamon suggested a shelter for homeless soldiers, a choice which garnered at least 20 votes from other readers responding to our post.
Jillian Keenan agreed with Gary and also nominated a shelter for the homeless.

Another reader said a different pub should replace The World's Inn.
"A Brewers Fayre would be good," suggested Annette O'Donoghue. "Great value and gives a choice other than Wetherspoons."
Kayleigh Walker said that Romford has too many flats and said more public services were needed.
"Not enough school places or doctors or dentists around," she added.
Jane Lombard said the area would benefit from a butchers and a fish mongers, and Catherine Holmes thought the area could have a different kind of cuisine.
"A nice vegan restaurant," she suggested.
