Hundreds of our readers have had their say on what should replace Wilko in Romford after the retail giant's collapse.
More than 300 Recorder readers since yesterday (September 26) have suggested options to replace Wilko in The Mercury shopping centre in Romford.
Romford's Wilko will shut next Thursday (October 5), it was announced, prompting emotional reactions from shoppers.
"Gutted Wilko's closed," said reader Adam Grace. "Such a useful shop.
"Another hardware or gardening superstore would be great for me."

Jan Jennings agreed that the loss of Wilko was a significant.
"Who should or even could replace Wilko? That’s a huge unit as was BHS, Littlewoods, Debenhams."
Carol Fleming, another reader, suggested an indoor market or a collection of small stores similar to the shopping hall to replace the home and hardware outlet.
"Bring back the dolphin pool," was another popular choice from reader Matt Holden.
Numerous readers suggested facilities to help vulnerable people.
Luke Wilsher recommended a place to help the homeless, as did David Hurley and fellow reader Donna Gurling suggested a walk-in health centre.
"Health comes first," added Ann Elfes.
Duncan Hough also said that a GP practice would benefit the area.
Others said young people were in need of a social space.
"A hang out area for teens, table tennis tables, pool tables, air hockey [would be good]," said Eloise Watkins.
"Teens have nowhere anymore - everything is for under 12s or over 18s," she added.
Fiona Seeta Persaud Rodrigues said she would like to see a playcentre or children's club.
Robert Farnsworth's recommendation was a homeless drop-in centre, food bank and night shelter.
The cost-of-living crisis has hit Romford's residents and businesses, including family-run eatery McDowell's Pie and Mash which announced its closure in July.
Another reader suggested a more accessible supermarket, one such as Aldi, which offers cheaper prices.
Lauren Rachel Jones said: "I really miss Aldi in the market, [it] would be great having Aldi next to Asda or at least something accessible to all instead of a few."
Retail was another popular choice, with Stephanie R. Belardo and Danielle Russell Squillace calling for a Zara clothes store.
