Plans to bulldoze a former health centre and a restaurant are among those submitted over the last week.
These were all received by Havering Council between September 5 and 11.
Planning applications will be reviewed by the council before any final decisions are made.
In Romford, one application proposes converting a home in Charlotte Gardens into two flats, as well as creating a single-storey rear extension and bin storage (P1286.23).
Proposals have also been made to demolish the side garage of one property to build one two-bedroom house next door in Lower Bedfords Road (P1063.23).
A major set of plans has been submitted for the former Long Term Conditions Centre in Copse Avenue in Harold Wood (P1279.23).
This would see the existing building demolished and replaced by 96 homes in buildings between 2.5 and five-storeys high, with associated car parking.
In Crossways Romford, there are plans to convert a garage into a habitable space (P1352.23).
Another conversion of an existing space would see a games room in Primrose Glen in Hornchurch used as a granny annexe instead (P1376.23).
There are also plans to demolish The Cranleigh, a restaurant in Station Lane, and replace it with a two-storey building of nine flats (P1364.23).
In Rainham, one applicant has asked to build a detached garden room at their property in South End Road (P1358.23)
Another proposal in Upminster would see the gym at Franks Farm in St Marys Lane, Upminster, turned into offices (P1359.23).
In Station Road, there are proposals to change the use of a building from offices into two flats (J0029.23).
A loft conversion with a rear dormer has been proposed in Maiden Way, Rainham (P1263.23).
There are plans for another with two rear dormers in Ingreway, Romford (P1371.23).
In Upminster, there are plans for a single storey rear extension to a property in Macon Way (P1350.23).
There are plans for two different rear extensions in Hornchurch - one in Osborne Road (P1379.23) and another in Wingletye Lane (Y0224.23).
In Romford there are eight plans to build extensions to properties.
These are in - Lodge Avenue (P1370.23), Balgores Lane (P1253.23), Manor Road (P1297.23), Lawrence Road (P1361.23), Hulse Avenue (Y0229.23), Walmer Close (Y0226.23), Fry Close (P1355.23) and Tees Drive (P1362.23).
