A second man has been charged after a shooting in Walthamstow left a man seriously injured.
Anthony Diamond Brown, 22, of no fixed address was charged yesterday (September 15) with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of ammunition with intent to endanger life.
It comes after police were called to Blackhorse Lane at around 10.45pm on June 17 to reports of a firearms discharge.
When officers attended the scene along with the London Ambulance Service, a 22-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound.
He was rushed to hospital in a critical condition but has since been discharged.
Another man – Desharn Felix, 21, of no fixed address – has previously been charged in connection to the incident with the same offences as Brown, as well as possession of cannabis.
He appeared in custody at Thames Magistrates' Court on July 7 and will appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on 22 January next year.
Brown has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court today (September 16).
