Seven new flats will be built in Collier Row if plans are granted.

Notiongate Limited, a real estate firm, has proposed to build seven self-contained flats at Unit A, 315 Collier Row Lane.

The application site is to the rear of properties on the western side of Collier Row Lane, according to the planning statement.

The plans, under application code P1090.23, were received on July 10 and validated by Havering Council on August 22.

The site was last occupied by industrial supplier GBS Batteries and is accessed via a service road from Collier Row Road's south side.

The proposed block of flats has been designed to be compatible with the surrounding pattern of development, according to the planning statement.

"Overall, the proposed development will make a positive contribution to the area," it added.

A decision date has been set to October 17 this year.

The exisiting building would undergo a partial demolition to make way for the seven flats, according to the plans.
