The Recorder has looked at how much it costs to park your car in Romford and has compiled a list of council-run car parks - including some where you don't have to pay a penny.
There are a number of car parks to choose from in Romford with prices fixed by Havering Council.
Among these are Angel Way and Como Street car parks, which are set to be sold off after council cabinet members backed plans to dispose of these "assets".
We’ve taken a look at how much it costs to park your car in the town using council-operated car parks.

- Como Street (RM7 7DL) - 134 spaces;
- Market Place (RM1 1XL) - 160 spaces;
- Marshalls Park (RM1 4AU) - 123 spaces;
- Oldchurch Rise (RM7 0AW) - 82 spaces;
- Slaney Road (RM1 3NH) - 100 spaces;
- Town Hall (RM1 3BB) - 60 spaces;

- 0-1 hour: £2.10
- 1-2 hours: £3.60
- 2-3 hours: £5.10
