The Recorder has looked at how much it costs to park your car in Romford and has compiled a list of council-run car parks - including some where you don't have to pay a penny.

There are a number of car parks to choose from in Romford with prices fixed by Havering Council.

Among these are Angel Way and Como Street car parks, which are set to be sold off after council cabinet members backed plans to dispose of these "assets".

  • Oldchurch Rise (RM7 0AW) - 82 spaces;
  • Slaney Road (RM1 3NH) - 100 spaces;
  • Town Hall (RM1 3BB) - 60 spaces;
