Three more eateries in Havering have been given low ratings for food hygiene by the Food Standards Agency (FSA).
Griller in Elm Park, Natural Bean Specialty Coffee in Gidea Park and VJ Chicken & Pizza in Hornchurch, received a rating of 1 out of 5 from food inspectors.
While Griller, in Elm Park Avenue, and Natural Bean Speciality Coffee were inspected on August 1, VJ Chicken & Pizza was visited by authorities on July 26.
They were all found to require “major improvements” overall and were assessed on three major grounds - hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and management of food safety.
According to results published on the FSA website, Griller had a satisfactory level of cleanliness but was marked low for other two criteria.

VJ Chicken & Pizza, in Upminster Road, fared better on hygienic handling of food, but it was said to require an upgrade on the cleanliness and management of food safety.
Natural Bean Specialty Coffee, in Heath Park Road, the results revealed, required improvements in food hygiene, cleanliness and food safety.
The ratings however do not stand for the quality of the food, customer service, culinary skills of the makers, presentation of food and comfort of the venue, and are subject to changes.
There are currently six food outlets in Havering holding a 0 food hygiene rating, and 25 with a hygiene rating of 1.
