A man has died after falling from a 22-storey block of flats in broad daylight.
Police were called to Stubbs Point in Canning Town at 2pm yesterday (August 22) to reports that a person had fallen from height.
Officers and medics from the London Ambulance Service (LAS) found a man at the scene who had fallen from the tower.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, he was eventually pronounced dead at the scene.
A police spokesperson said that they are still trying to notify the man’s next of kin.
They added that the death is being treated as “unexpected”, and is under investigation.
