A teenager has been charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.
The boy, 15, appeared in custody at Barkingside Youth Court on Thursday (July 27).
The robbery charge relates to an alleged incident involving a teenager in Station Road, Hornchurch on Tuesday (July 25), police said.
Police had been called at around 5.20pm on Tuesday (July 25) to reports of two males seen in possession of a knife in the vicinity of the road.

A 15-year-old was arrested by officers in Squirrels Heath Road that day.
He has been bailed ahead of a further hearing on Monday (July 31) at the same court.
A 14-year-old male arrested on suspicion of robbery has been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in late August.
