A woman from Hornchurch has been banned from driving after she was caught behind the wheel while three times over the legal alcohol limit.
Arlene Marie Haselgrove, 53, of Ardleigh Green Road, was breathalysed after she was seen driving a Volvo SUV on Bryant Avenue in Romford on June 11.
The breath test showed she had 112 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35mcg.
Haselgrove appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court last Tuesday (July 18) for sentencing after pleading guilty to drink driving.
She was given a community order including treatment for alcohol dependency, and was also disqualified from driving for two years and four months.
