A themed pop-up adventure, complete with skateboarding and graffiti tunnels, will open in south west London to mark the return of four total dudes
The skate-boarding sewer turtles – Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael - are back with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem hitting cinemas on July 31.
To celebrate, an immersive pop-up will open in Leake Street graffiti tunnels between Friday, July 28 to Sunday, July 30.
Inspired by the ninjitsu-trained radioactive reptiles’ iconic lair, the pop-up features a decked-out arcade, skate lessons from Skates & Ladders, a colouring wall, a parkour park and plenty of opportunities to win prizes.
In the evening, this family friendly event turns up the party with its Lair Lates that come with djs playing old-school 90s NYC disco, hip-hop bangers and underground classics from a stage that comes with a half-pipe as a backdrop.
You’ll also be able to scoff the turtles’ favourite food, pizza, and play arcade machines.
The movie, which opens Monday, July 1, features a stellar cast including Jacki Chan, Rose Byrne, Paul Rudd and Natasia Demetriou.
Produced by Nickelodeon, the film tells the story of the four turtle brothers who go on a mission to be accepted as normal teenagers by New Yorkers through acts of heroism.
Timed tickets to the lair are free and available to book at timeout.com while tickets for Lair Lates are available at timeout.com.
Address: 26 Leake Street, Waterloo (under the station) SE1 7NN
