There are two by-elections being held in Newham next week and Newham Council has issued a warning to residents about voter ID.
The by-elections in Wall End and Boleyn wards will be held on Thursday, July 13 following the resignations of two sitting councillors.
These will be the first by-elections to be held in Newham since voter ID was introduced in England.
