Just Stop Oil (JSO) protestors slow marched through major Stratford streets this morning.
The JSO protestors occupied both Cam Road and Broadway from 8am today (Monday, June 19).
A JSO spokesperson said on Twitter: "At 8am, 45 supporters in 3 groups began marching in Stratford and Ealing, demanding the government end new oil and gas licensing."

The Met Police said on Twitter: "Section 12 orders were implemented at Cam Road & Broadway, and the roads were cleared within three minutes."

The Section 12 legal imposition means the police can arrest protestors if they do not stop blocking the highway.
According to the Met, slow marches also took place in Ealing, Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham and in the Barbican area this morning.
