Havering Council has received a series of planning applications for a range of developments across the borough in the last week. 

These cover a variety of proposals, from the construction of new three-storey homes to the extension of an existing quarry.

Planning applications will be reviewed by the council before any final decisions are made.

One planning application submitted (P0868.23) was for a change of use from a family home to a children's care home in Lower Mardyke Avenue in Rainham.

There are also plans (P0622.23) for the demolition of two homes and the erection of three new, three-storey detached, four-bed homes in Front Lane in Upminster.

In the council’s Emerson Park ward, an application (P0815.23) to revise planning permission for two six-bed detached homes in Sylvan Avenue so that detached garages can be built in front of both properties has been submitted.

There are also proposals (P0797.23) to demolish an existing garage to make way for two semi-detached homes in Mawney Road, with associated parking, cycle and refuse storage.

Another application (P0680.23) seeks permission to construct a first-floor rear extension and loft conversion with rear dormer in Dunster Close.

In Rush Green and Crowlands ward, an application (P0787.23) was submitted for the conversion of a detached garage into a single-storey one-bed studio flat in Crow Lane.

An application (P0728.23) aims to change the use of a house in Pretoria Road to a house in multiple occupation (HMO) capable of accommodating up to six people.

A proposal (P0738.23) has also been raised for extending the existing East Hall Farm quarry by extracting sand and gravel and restoring it for agricultural use.

In St. Alban's Ward, a detailed application (P0845.23) has been put forward to demolish a building in Carlisle Road and replace it with two three-bed semi-detached chalet-style homes.

Tha application includes provisions for parking, amenity space, and storage.

In Upminster, proposals (P0843.23) have been submitted to alter the opening hours of the Brewdog in Station Road to 8am to 11pm, Monday to Sunday. The pub is currently open between 12pm and 11pm.

Another application (P0856.23) seeks permission for an increase in HGV two-way movements from 22 to 50 per day in connection with the installation of a renewable energy generating station at Fen Lane Bulphan.
