A Hornchurch pub is set to close its doors for good.
The Rising Sun announced it will shut this Saturday (June 10) due to the untenable costs of running the pub.
It has been open for at least 20 years and hosted regular events such as Soul City, a popular soul and dance night.
"It is with a heavy heart that we announce our final last call," said James Sherer, landlord of The Rising Sun, in a statement on Facebook.
"We look back with nothing but fondness on the years of camaraderie and community that we've enjoyed together," he added.

The pub, in High Street, will host its final party from midday until 1am this Saturday, asking locals to come and say goodbye.
“Our journey has truly been a testament to the spirit of the community,” James said.
