Havering is home to hundreds of restaurants and cafes serving a range of cuisines.
Many of them have top-rated food hygiene ratings, but there are some exceptions.
We have done a round-up of the eateries in the borough with hygiene ratings below 2 according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA).
These ratings are given assessing the likes of handling, storing and preparing of food. The cleanliness of facilities and how food safety is managed are other criteria.
The ratings however do not stand for the quality of the food, customer service, culinary skills of the makers, presentation of food and comfort of the venue.
