A house in Harold Hill was damaged in a fire caused by a faulty fridge, the London Fire Brigade (LFB) has said.
Crews were called at 12.08pm to reports of the fire in Sevenoaks Close yesterday (April 27).
One man left the property before the brigade arrived and no injuries were reported.
Half the ground floor of the two-storey mid terrace property was damaged.
The fire was triggered accidentally after an electric fault in the fridge, a spokesperson for the LFB said.

Five fire engines and around 35 firefighters from Harold Hill, Dagenham, Romford and Leytonstone fire stations were deployed.
The firefighters were at the scene for more than an hour and brought the fire under control at 1.24pm.
Following the incident, the spokesperson recommended people refer to their online Home Fire Safety Checker to ensure their appliances are safe.
They added: “The online tool will ask you a series of questions that will help us work out the level of risk in your home, or the home of someone you care for.
“It only takes a few minutes to get tailored advice to keep yourself and loved ones safe from fire."
