A teenager has become the fifth person to be charged with murder in connection with the deaths of two men in east London last year.
Zakarie Mohamed, 18, of Kensal Rise, Kensington, was arrested in Tower Hamlets on Wednesday (April 12) and appeared in custody at Bromley Magistrates Court on Friday (April 14).
He is charged with two counts of murder, attempted murder and possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
The charges relate to the deaths of Zakariya Jeilani Mohamed, 32, and Saydi Abu Sheikh, 23, last October.

Police were called at 00:16am on October 25, 2022 to reports of a shooting inside a house on Henley Road, Ilford. Three men were found with gunshot injuries.
Both Zakariya Jeilani and Saydi Abu died at the scene.
The third man was discharged from hospital after being in a serious condition for some time, police said. The families of all three men continue to be supported by specialist officers.
20-year-old Ayaani Ali Adan, of East Street in Barking, 18-year-old Ayman Abasheikh of Stratton Road in Harold Hill, 20-year-old Zain Mirza of Third Avenue in Manor Park and 21-year-old Mahad Gouled of Charles Street in Enfield were previously charged with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder as part of the same investigation.
Adan and Abasheikh were also each charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of a knife in public and possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate last year.
The Old Bailey heard last November that Zakariya Jeilani died after he suffered stab and gunshot wounds to the torso and Saydi Abu died from stab wounds to the torso.
