A man has suffered "non-life threatening" injuries after he was hit by a car in Romford.
The man, in his 20s, was walking down South Street near the junction with Thurloe Gardens when the vehicle collided with him.
Police were called to the scene at 12.20pm yesterday (April 5) and the area was cordoned off.
Emergency services attended and the man was taken to hospital with "non-life threatening" injuries, a spokesperson said.

One passer-by commented on social media: "When I was passing on the bus shortly after it happened I saw 2 ambulances and a first responder."
Another person praised a driver seen near the collision location briefly taking charge of directing the traffic.
She posted: “He got out and to avoid any more accidents he single handed was keeping all the traffic moving… he was incredible."
