Parents and carers are being asked to share their views on how services for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in Havering can be improved.
Havering Council has acknowledged it is "not getting it right" for every child or young person and has committed to bettering its SEND services.
It is applying for a grant to do this in late June and is conducting a survey to incorporate suggestions by interested groups.
A council spokesperson said: “We want to put children and young people at the heart of this plan, and your views as a parent or carer are really important to make sure we're focusing on the right areas."

The survey, the council says, will also help it understand the current education setting experienced by children or young people under 25.
It is open until April 10, and parents and carers of young people with SEND can fill out the form at consultation.havering.gov.uk/education/havering-send-survey-for-parents-and-carers.
In 2020, Havering was named as one of the best local authorities for supporting children with high educational needs by a public service insights team.
