Four students have been offered places at Oxford or Cambridge if they achieve high enough exam results at Brentwood School.
Three have been offered places at Cambridge - Abigail Rice to study economics, Jacob Stephen for psychology and behavioural sciences and Henry O’Hara for medicine and surgery - while Benjamin O’Riordan has an offer to go to Cambridge for history.
Offers are also in for eight students to study medicine, dentistry and veterinary science at prestigious universities with others hoping to be going to institutions such as the University of Music and Performing Arts.
There are 182 current and former students with offers for universities around the UK and abroad including the US, Europe, Hong Kong and Australia.
The most popular university choices are Nottingham, Exeter and Loughborough.
